Twincest: Right Or Wrong?

partisan Wrote:I don't believe everything that doesn't cause harm is okay. You know, they can do what they like (though i dont believe its common practice)

Yes pellaz, a relationship built on love, respect and commitment is a good thing, they should be there anyway amongst sibling, the only body fluid they need to share is blood.

Can anybody imagine what it would do to a parent?

Maybe they weren't raised as you an I were, maybe they really love each other, maybe they
see their brother as something more than a brother, but as a part of themselves, idk :3

maybe they just think they are hot? lmao

Finally someone who asked the question. Guys I am parent I have 2 + 3 kids and frankly I don't want to see any one of them fucking each other. There's a certain limit to acceptance and sexual freedom within the family. Play doctor with your cousin if you will but don't you dare touch your brother or sister lol

Well they are going to hell for their behaviors, so we don't need to banish them, God will do it.

Oh come on, there are no logical arguments to ban twins from getting sexually involved with each other, assuming there's mutual consent.

"But it's unnatural". This argument fails because nature is a downright horrible source for indications of what he should or shouldn't tolerate. If we lived our lives and made our laws based on what's "natural" or not we'd see some drastic changes being made, especially in the area of empathy. It just doesn't work.

"But it's gross". This argument fails even harder because, truth be told, what you think is gross is completely irrelevant. Individual disgust, regardless of how prevalent in society, is no proper basis to ban a certain behaviour. If it were I can imagine the sex lives of same-sex couples taking a blow.

"But the thought of doing it with my own sibling!". Oh come on. I assure you, nobody's going to force you to sleep with your brother or sister. Most of us (myself included) have grown up in a society where incest is one of the few remaining taboos and thus find ourselves disgusted by the mere thought of engaging in incestuous behaviour. That's how we prefer it, but others may disagree and they're not hurting anyone unless (although it's still debatable) they conceive.

Now, I'm aware of "twincest" in pornography and to be honest the thought doesn't arouse me at all. I can't say I find it that disturbing either but I'd prefer to simply not watch it. I find its existence to be pretty interesting though as I'm sure the whole "taboo" thing is why a lot of people find it to be incredible arousing. Sexuality can be pecuilar sometimes.

Isn't incest pretty common in the bible though? I'm not trying to raise an argument, I'm genuinely interested! I admit that I haven't read the whole bible but I do remember there being a few persons specifically favoured by God who participated in incestuous acts. Lot's daughters got their father drunk and then proceeded to impregnante themselves with his child/grandchild. These people, mind you, were obviously on God's good side since they were the only ones to be spared in the destruction of Sodom. What's your take on this? Is it irrelevant because it's in the Old Testament, am I remembering some detail wrong or is God, according to scripture, simply fine with incest?

Oh big time just read Genesis and you'll have the big picture... incest was in fact starting to really being eradicate by the Clergy around St-Louis in 12 hundreds been enforced by inquisition. Incest never ceased to exist and will not stop anytime soon... but it did made an appearance in gay porn in the years around 1975 - 80 and Belami's George Duroy continued its saga with European twin twinks having full intercourse together.

I'm actually a little shocked and disgusted that there's so much judgment and damnation for what two consenting adults do. Especially in a GAY FORUM where people commiserate about the judgment and damnation we receive from others as well as commune about other everyday aspects of life.

Do we not see where we're saying the exact same thing as every other fundamentalist group? "What you do in your bedroom totally affects me, and you shouldn't be allowed to do it, ever, because it's a sin, and it's wrong, and you're going to hell?" Seriously? Haven't we all heard this? I'm not saying we should add another letter to the big gay alphabet (GLBTQI...) - and besides T and I are already both taken - but how can we expect equality, respect, and fair treatment from people who don't like what's going on between us and another consenting adult if we're all gung-ho about judging others for the same reasons we're judged?

Really?!? Not cool.
