Anyone every used win 8?
I got a new $2k laptop with win 8. Worst thing I could have done. It lags worse than any dumb blonde you'd ever met. It fights with steam lots so it makings playing games hard u.u

I played around with it at work and hated it, Microsoft is trying to make one OS for all of their devices.

all of the extra security makes me wonder if the companies know something we don't. Microsoft keeps trying to get me to add another email account for my xbox live account and I already have 3 linked to it and every time I log onto my banks website I have to wait for a code to be sent to my cell or email.

As I say, my OL life is fairly minor if necessary...that means I'm not particularly motivated to switch to something else which means alerting everyone else, etc, while then learning a new system and hoping that the problems aren't as bad or even worse, and just a headache I'd rather not deal with. Even so, Microsoft makes me reconsider every time they pull a stunt like this...I expect it's only a matter of time before I decide it IS worth the hassle, especially if they keep being a hassle themselves anyway.
