So I was browsing around and found this article about how lack of sleep makes our brains not function correctly. Long story short is that they found that when we dont get enough sleep the frontal lobe of our brain is affected. The frontal lobe is the center of the brain that controls our good choice making decisions. While the more primal parts of our brain are lighting up like a Christmas tree. These primal parts of our brain control rewards. Which is why we go for more unhealthy foods when we are more sleepy.
