The daffodil, because it's actually a natural indicator of local Spring.

Spring doesn't, of course, begin on one day of the year just because we arrogant humans say it does. Spring actually travels up the country and so daffodils open according to when the appropriate climate reaches them. I hate the winter for it's coldness and darkness and I always feel re energised when I see the daffodils budding.

And of course the daffodil is one of the emblems of Wales/Cymru (Pronounced Kum-ree). My family is part Welsh and Wales is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.
