So I need to buy a new car 'cos my old Peugeot is falling apart.
Contact the nearest Ford main dealer and book a test in a Focus (I know, but it's all I can afford).
"We've got one but it's at Orleans, and would you like to go there?"
"No, 'cos it's 50km away. Why don't you bring the car to where you are?"
"Oh, OK."
Drive car. Shit upon shit.
Contact main Citroen dealer and book test in a C4 (ditto);
"We've got one but it's at Loches, and would you like to go there?"
"No, 'cos it's 50km away. Why don't you bring the car to where you are?"
"'cos we're shut for August, and I'm sending this from Loches."
"Why don't you send the car to where you should be when you're open, then, if that ever happens?"
"Oh, OK. I'll tell me mate when he's back from his hols."
And this when the car market has shrivelled to almost nothng and you can get 20% discounts on almost everything.
