Miley Cyrus: Hoe or No?

Yeah. Sorry if my reply came across as rude, that was not my intention, you state opinion rationally and support it with valid arguments and I didn't mean to come across as rude. Imu2

I would agree with you,
but only about slut shaming in general,
and in certain situations.

I value and respect strong and fierce women
who know how to use their sexualities to their advantage.

Tina Turner, Beyonce, Shakira, Ciara, etc...
they know how to pull it off right.

As an artist,
you can showcase sexuality,
while still being classy.

When you cross that line,
you come off as slutty.
(Men too!)

Miley was a hot sloppy mess on that stage,
with no class, or artistic substance.

You can't argue that.

Gyrating on stage,
with her tongue hanging out like she was having a stroke,
probably fucked up on ecstasy,
while singing her song about being fucked up on ecstasy....
not cute...

I caught chlamydia watching that trash.

It was tacky, juvenile, and gag-worthy.

SlipknotRlZZ Wrote:Why is no one saying anything about Robin Thicke.

If I saw him physically doing exactly what Miley did on stage,
during that "performance",
this thread would be about him.

At least Robin Thicke has contributed to good music,
in the (keyword) past.

I agree,
he's becoming a tired creepy old man,
and I don't like the new direction he's going in.

SlipknotRlZZ Wrote:Everytime someone as bold as her, style-wise and behavior-wise, appears, they are shot down with close-mindedness.

I wouldn't call it bold,
I'd call it desperate,
stupid,
and starving for attention.

Style-wise,
she needs to work at a strip-joint,
or on the nearest corner soliciting for johns,
instead of making "music".

Behavior-wise:
YES, I object!

I prefer being close-minded
from having garbage like that
infiltrate the appreciation and acceptance modules of my brain.

If I want to watch porn,
I'll cruise the internet.

I don't want to see it packaged
as top notch musical entertainment,
because it's not.

Hits on her pages have skyrocketed and with the extra attention people are listening and buying her music. I wish I'd posted an article I saw that explained that here but I figured the thread was pretty much dead and thought I'd let it die gracefully and now I can't find it again. I expect she lost the last of her Hannah fans, but she seems to be doing well as a pop star now that everyone is talking about her. So doesn't appear to be that stupid, at least not in the short term.

Seems like there backtracking on why they printed the story, maybe after recieving criticism,to try and save face.

seems very dishonest thing to do if its true anyway.

Did you guys know Will Smith was at the VMAs? How is he doing, anyway? I don't hear much from him since that future space movie with his son...

The Onion isn't a very serious newspaper, rather a satirizing and entertaining one. Many of their articles are pure lies but written in very humouring and obvious ways.
