Islamic reply to murdered soldier.

LONDONER Wrote:Over the years I have travelled extensively and included some Islamic countries because I am particularly interested in Islamic art and architecture. I remember with considerable affection the many friends I made in Morocco, Jordan, the Lebanon and Syria (poor, poor Syria) where I met the most hospitable and friendly people. So, I am not Islamaphobic by any means of the word. However, juust as in Christianity, Islam also has it's bad apples, the extremists and the radicals who, as far as I'm concerned, are not welcome.

The following is a quote:

The author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry. The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the minority races.

I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied,

'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Muslim was speechless.

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:

Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President.

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference.

I enjoyed reading something so very reasonable in a thread about Islam. Thanks! I'm just kind of curious as to whether the command of slaying infidels in order to ensure a place in heaven is actually accurate and/or followed by a majority of muslims. I found this article:

http://www.justaskislam.com/32/does-isla...-infidels/

What are your thoughts on this? I know the Imam confirmed that muslims are indeed encourages to slay non-infidels but the article says something else entirely.

Thank you londoner, something factual.

People are so unaware, so concerned with seeming politicly incorrect they cant see the actuall dangers. This religion is growing, become more extreme, more commonplace. Everyday muslims happily defend terrorism, speak of jihad, still it grows, changing the face of our streets, all by the power of non-muslim leftists who cant see ten years in the future, or 20, or 30, they just want an easy life for themselves, di not wish to offend.

I'm not concerned about seeming politically incorrect. I have plenty of political opinions that cause pure outrage once I share them with people. These everyday muslims you speak of, however, are NOT a majority within Islam. A lot of muslim immigrants are actually ESCAPING from the consequences of religious extremism and war that causes chaos in their homecountries.

Accusations don't work like that. Cruel acts carried out by persons of a certain faith cannot be used to justify the condemnation of the faith and its followers as a whole. It's somewhat similar to how some religious people demonize atheism by bringing up evils carried out by the likes of Stalin and Mao.

Muslims alone are not responsible for faith-based genocide. There are places in the world where they are being and have been vile perpetrators committing gruesome acts of murder and torture. There are also places where they are being and have been victimized. The Bosnian genocide is a pretty good example, if you haven't heard of that I suggest you go look it up.

Christianity also calls for it's followers to commit reprehensible acts...

The only difference between Christianity and Islam, today, is that "Christians" have calmed from taking their holy book so literally, in the last few thousand years, and settled (somewhat) in fear-mongering non-believers, or sinner's in general, to where they aren't, for the most part, perpetrating atrocities, as commanded in their holy book, and instead have focused their energy on a less violent approach because most cherry-pick their bibles to accommodate convenience.

In my opinion they aren't real Christians... but I'll save that for another thread...

I'm not saying that most "Muslims" aren't peaceful nice people,
because most don't take every part of their holy book literally either,
when it comes to the bat-shit-crazy stuff,
it just seems that more Muslims than "Christians" act on what their book says literally.

Both tolerant persons of a religion, and intolerant persons of a religion believe themselves to follow their religion more accurately than the other.
Whichever one outsiders believe is the more correct form of these peoples religion is, in practical terms, meaningless; it caries the same weight if not even less than followers of the religion.

Can't we just judge people as individuals...
