Squash. I LOVE squash. One of the most awesome and underrated veggies there are.
So much can be done with them: fried, boiled, baked, grilled, soups, salads, casseroles, stews....

Larger squash have always been used for lanterns in olden times, and of course, sex toys...but we wont go "there". This is about the food aspects of squash.

Yellow Squash is great when deep-fat-fried,,, or skewered and grilled with other veggies. Yum..

Never tried the stuff, too scary. Though the 5th pic down looks suspiciously like a courgette, even if you tell me its not a courgette I dont believe you

Get a spaghetti squash, cut it in half and bake both pieces. Serve with spaghetti sauce. Wonderful.

I like acorn squash cooked by being split in half, seeds scraped out, and maple syrup poured in where the seeds were. It is quite delicious. I also like pumpkin chowder.

Courgette and zucchini are the same thing.

I like to cut pumpkin into tiny slices and fry them up and then caramelise them in honey.
