Wha, it's october! And I have no idea of what to do... I wanted to do something special this year, but honestly I'm not in a good period, so maybe I will prepare something at the last minute, or not...

Halloween is so fun! My family does a little get together for Halloween with snacks and dancing. This year I am going to do a Bo Peep drag that I think will be fun. Not alot of my family likes to dress up, but I do.

I like the idea of Halloween and really wish I had a blissful take on the matter (ignorance being bliss and all of that).

But the reality is I know the darker side of the occult and this time of year is always troublesome for me.

While you think of candy, pumpkins and cool and uncool costumes, I am reminded of rituals and rites which no child should ever be part of.

To give you an idea of what October means to me, you need to go to this link: http://www.theopenscroll.com/hosting/Sat...lendar.htm

And I fear it does not end on October 31st, it continues for a little while into November.

So I like the idea of costumes, parties, and having fun - the idea of the modern all Hallows is cute. The reality is that its not a nice time for me - leads me into dark alleys of the mind.

I've managed to persuade a friend to be my altar boy so I can carry him around in a leash. Hoping to win the costume contest! Big Grin

^^^ So child molestation is something to make fun of?

Honestly I never get the 'humor' of joking about such a serious matter.

I'm under the impression that most things can be made fun of, yes. It's not the same as condoning it. Humour and serious debate, for me, exist in very different realms.
