Anyone else who is frustrated by the latest version of Chrome that shows in graphics the last eight sites you visited, there is a solution. An IT friend of mine sent it to me. It was in Spanish but I'll do my best to explain.
Open Chrome and in the taskbar write: chrome://flags and press Enter.
Ignore the warning that these experiments might be dangerous and scroll down until you find: “Habilitar la API ampliada de Instantâ€Â.
Click on the downward arrow and then click on "Inhabilitar".
Re-start your computer and voila, you're back to the old version.
