The 'imaginary' effect applies to me inversely for those I know too much information. As I live and work with Asians from one particular country for years, I learn their idiosyncrasies, so to date native Asians from this country is a 'no-no' to me. That's because I have heard too many negative stories from my friends who have relationships with them. I might consider Asians from other countries more approachable than those from the country that I know too much about. But that's just my 'imagination' bias or error, assuming the other Asians from another culture will be better than those in the culture I am familiar with. I don't have any friends who have given me any negative experiences from a different Asian country YET. So ignorance equals bliss.

I have to admit I definitely have a bit of an asian fetish.

But I don't go for any one race or type exclusively.

I'm dating a white guy right now, I've gone for all sorts of men before.

But there is definitely something about asian men that just gets me going.
