Magis, yet! But it's not actually something you can control Frank, fear of heights, or fear or leaving the "plancher des vaches" = the floor on which cows graze.

I know I'm not particularly comfortable in the plane at first but am more confident about flying now. Marshlander has a deeprooted discomfort at flying too and yet he braves the elements monthly to come and spend time here with his partner... so I guess it is something that you can overcome, but it still doesn't make it a great feeling. Mind you, I positively HATE rollercoasters too, so what does that say about me?

I use to be terrified of flying too. My first flight was at uni. There were fire engines waiting for our plane (or so it seemed). Agree that there isnt much to be done if ya got the fear but the mind is an amazing thing and sometimes can make games of fear. That is why I try to think of flying as Magic!

Had the same fear of roller coasters but now I only go to Disneyland or such really big ones... you are pretty much guaranteed that they are safe. Those places dont want bad publicity. Just Magic.

Hokay, just to keep you guys in the loop, Wouldlikemuscle's still here and will be until tomorrow evening when I have to let him go :frown:, but we're having a really cool time - we've been to the zoo, and we've been out for meals and driven around and walked around our garden and stuff - plus I've been fattening the poor boy up with homemade cakes 'n stuff, and I think he's having a good time which is COOL !!

For anybody that ever has the chance to meet him, he's absolutely lovely, and gets my official stamp of approval.
