Winter is coming upon some countries about now...such as the North American Continent.
Thought it might be nice to post some winter pics. Pics that either you have taken of your area or some you found on the internet that make you smile.

Some really nice photos posted here. This is my contribution.

Taken in 2009 in London on the day that London shut down. This sudden overnight snowfall closed down London completely and there was a eerie silence with no traffic noise.

It doesnt look like that much snow anyway.

MisterTinkles, this winter while you'll be looking at pictures of the North you think are pretty, I'll be getting up two hours early just to shovel the snow and staying up two hours later at night just to bring in enough wood to burn to prevent myself from freezing to death.

The Brits are never prepared for this sort of thing, least of all in the city. I agree with you that it doesn't look like much of a snowfall (compared to some of the photos that have been posted) but it was enough to grind London to a halt.
