Ok so I'm wanting to settle, what I think, is the greatest debate in all of Rock n' Roll.

David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar????????

I have to go with David Lee. I'll admit that Hagar has the better voice but at the end of the day David Lee Roth in my opinion just blows the doors off of him. The show, the catchy songs, and listen to him talk!! He comes up with some of the best lines ever.

What do you guys think?

Although he annoys me, I would say that David Lee Roth is the better of the two, simply because he knows how to put on a show. I can appreciate a good showman.

I remember when I got my first double kick pedal I first learnt how to play "Hot For Teacher." I started drumming when I was 7 years old, got my first double kick pedal when I was 11. Alex Van Halen has one of the best right hand of any drummer in the history of drumming.

got to agree that Sammy has the better vocal range and I love his hagar/Montrose stuff but for VH its Diamond Dave all the way - a SHOWMAN !!! , got some classic dvds of VH and dave only sings half the lyrics...too busy jumping or just forgetting them (thank god for Michiael Anthonys vocals covering ) if you want to see why Dave is god then checkout the US FESTIVAL SHOW 83

I came here expecting pics of some sort... I was disappointed cos I wanted to know who this van guy was... I've heard of him but I don't remember celebrities very well. They don't matter very much in my world.
