Pretty astonishing for 1944

3 Ladies - This was in 1944 !!!

During the first 59 seconds, they are singing, but next, what they do, is pretty astonishing.

I cant believe you have never seen that stuff before! Did you never watch tv or movies when you were little?

Being "double jointed" or a "human slinky" was popular back then for entertainers, especially lower level or local entertainers. I remember seeing that kind of stuff when I was little, watching all those black and white musicals or variety shows on tv.

Next time you see a magician "saw a woman in half".............keep this dexterity in mind.

He's old enough to have invented that style of dancing, and sadly, old enough to forget doing that. So yeah I get why he is so 'astonished' - just humor the old boy....

Oh Yes I did. Londoner can sure dish out the jokes, lets see how well he can handle a joke.

Besides at his age, he most likely will forget what I said in about three minutes and go back to recalling some past experience from 1878 when he was a young man of 20. Alzheimer's being what it is.

It was posted for the benefit of those who weren't around at that time and who have never seen it.

Thanks for this, Londoner... amazing indeed. A circus act, as they used to have them.
