What makes my day is when a young child smiles at me in public. Children don't smile anymore so when it happens it just makes my day the happiest I've had in a long while.

Just hours ago, i was walking along a sidewalk with my friend and we stumbled upon a pregnant lady who was selling passport covers. We bought 3 (35 pesos each, 20 cents short of a US dollar) and she was so happy about it. It was already 5pm and she told us we are the first one to buy since 8 am

she was just genuinely happy telling us its her last day since she's gonna have her maternity leave. Its just a small thing for us, but it left a big impact on her her smile made my day

Stressing over finals for weeks, studying, studying, taking a thousand practice tests and staying up all night before each test, STUDYING. Then going to school taking the final and walking out realizing your out for almost a month. its like, that feeling is AMAZING.

Also having someone you care about send you a silly pic at random, I always smile and Always happy they thought about me .

School cancellations due to snow, the house being about 60 after you get up so you sit next to the living room fireplace with a blanket, hot chocolate and look out the window at the snow.

I like to sit on my sofa in the evenings and watch a few dvd boxsets. Watching American Horror story tonight.

been appreciated - we've had such a tough year at work. my manger came last night and gave us all Christmas cards - all hand written from him his wife and his 2 young children, and said how much he appreciated how much effort we have put in all this year. and you could see he meant it ,,,at work that's all you need , to be appreciated
