There is generally considered to be seven face/head shapes, although of course everyone is unique.

OVAL - widest at cheekbones, not by much, narrows tiny bit at jawline and forehead.

DIAMOND -not so common, characterized by narrow forehead and jawline, cheekbones being the widest part and often defined.

ROUND - exactly as it sounds, one of the most common face shape along with square.

SQUARE - Does not narrow much from jawline to cheekbone or cheekbone to forehead.

OBLONG - similiar to square but longer.

TRIANGLE/PEAR - most narrow at forehead, widest at jawline

HEART/INVERTED TRIANGLE - opposite of triangle/pear
