Specifically that protein is a mutated Alcohol Dehydrogenase Enzyme...which was used to improve ethanol tolerance in Clostridium thermocellum :biggrin:
Normal Alcohol Dehydrogenase usually has a Zinc atom rather than an Iron atom. Proline in the position 704 and Histidine in the Position 734 were mutated to Leucine and Arginine respectively...
