Oh yes! My sister and I used to love playing Street Fighter! We also played a lot of Super Mario 3.

EarthBound. Definitely EarthBound. Mother 3 aka EarthBound the Sequel is also a close second. Other than those two, I love Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Legend of Zelda, LittleBIGPlanet, Metal Gear Solid, Okami, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Classic Megaman just to name a few. I know what You mean. When I was a kid, I played Radical Rex and Castlevania on my Sega Genesis. I really miss Cyborg Justice and Armored Core. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego was okay too.
