Recently watched "Earthlings"... It made me change opinions on so many things I thought it was impossible before. It's really harsh and "raw" but one should definitely watch it as it gives a new perspective to so many things we take for granted.
Also it kind of made me a pseudo vegan-ish person.

Remembering our gay history, we watched The Fall of '55 about the gay scandal in Idaho. One of the many sad events we should never forget.

Just watched this amazing documentary about the romans in britain and how they effectively divided the country between english & scottish by building hadrians wall as before this britain was tribes and all these tribes were cut off from each other and northern england (south of hadrians wall) was known as "Inferior britain" and south as "superior britain" by the romans (winks at any northeners :p) and then the romans buggered off and we forgot how to read again. This and so much more, i found it very interesting, very much.

Yesterday I watched a documentary on Purity Balls, the highly troubling event where young girls sign a contract with their fathers promising to not only remain virgins until marriage, but also not to date or kiss. Oh, and the fathers claim to be the daughter's boyfriend. You can watch it here: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/virgin-daughters/

Then britain was run by gangsters until the angles invaded, amazingly the Angles became deeply religious and the kindom of Northumbria (middle britain) experienced a golden age and produced the best art in art in europe, a mix of celtic and roman and britain was run by kindly monks who were venerated in there own time, the most famous being the scottish Cuthbert but due to Hadrians wall the divusions between england & scotland became greater and started to develop nationalism… the peace wasnt to last
