That's cool dude ... just to be on the safe side I'd still suggest looking to replace it in time (especially if ever you're planning on travelling to other jurisdictions) - how long do you have until it's due for renewal on its own ?

Fair play for the result though - good skills !!.

I'd get a new one, the UK is surprisingly pretty strict when it comes to non-EU visitors. However, it's funny when I entered the UK from Germany I only ever had one bag check under that electrical machine thing in the GERMAN airport, when I got back to the UK, I just walked out the gate that says 'citizin of the UK", there were actually no men/women on the gate anyone could have walked through from any country carrying God knows what!

ANYWAY, yeah, get a new passport.

Well, that certainly sounds very very careless, indeed, Hyde. :frown:

Thanks everyone.

O.K, so, I went to the airport on Friday and ZA Immigration say that they'll accept it. So, I'm going to pop past Brit High Commission on Monday to see what they say. So far it seems like it wont be too much of a problem !!!

YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep those fingers crossed boys !!

Smurlos: Will be in London for a while (about 2 weeks or so), then I'm off to Ireland. But, have a few people that I need to visit, (Manchester and Crewe).

So, anyway, I'll let you know what High Commission says about the whole thing !!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S: Princealbert: Quite right ! My passport does smell DIVINE !!!!! LOL:biggrin:

Hmph, didn't see my name on the list  Teehee. Awwww wicked, what's in Ireland?? Apart from a million breweries and pubs, guiness and a kissable stone?

Well hope you make it here mr! xx

It's the Blarney stone, which purportedly gives you the gift of the gab. In other words, you lie on your back and kiss a stone that is suspended over the precipice of the high castle wall in Blarney, and then you are supposed to be able to make big long speeches...
