Well, they were popular back then...........I was just picking album covers......neither one was "my cup of tea", so I dont know what songs/albums were popular of theirs in the 70's.......all I know is that they were always being talked about like they were "gods" or something.

Aw , is Tinkles feeling a lil old? Poor baby :hugs-and-kisses-smi lol.

I actually like a lot of the older stuff, because it seems more authentic or realistic, even though often the quality is gross.

I don't miss the 70's for the very reasons shown in the OP. I need modern technology. Where's my Core I-7 computer? I would suffer without my HD TV as well.

I love my technology too, but I miss the days when someone wanted to 'experience' nature they got up off their arse and went for a bushwalk or a trek rather than google it and experience it from the living room.
