El nino, La nina, periods of 'calm'...you do realise this is 'normal' and typical weather patterns right?
The biggest change in weather in the last 2 decades is technology. We are all talking about weather more and more today, where as in the past if it was cloudy you just grabbed an umbrella.
All this 'RECORD' heat and 'RECORD' cold being the hottest/coldest in history??? Ask yourself EXACTLY what history and put that into perspective.
To use the weather as an analagy, is like seeing a single drop of rain and calling it a flood becuase based on history it doesn't rain.
