I'm not sure that Turkey counts as the worst country for gay people. It may not be the most comfortable but I don't think it's harsher than countries that have laws to kill anyone who is gay or imprison them. Is Turkey a country where it is illegal to be gay or have gay experiences?
Whatever the case may be, it is sad that your fellow countrymen (and women) have not understood the value of their gay population, and of diversity, the creativity and service that lgbt folk provide to the country.
One day, probably, things will change, if Turkey manages not to get engulfed in radical religious beliefs and laws. For the moment Turkey is still a lay country, isn't it? It seems important to continue informing an ignorant population, that gays are among them, and aren't their enemies.
