I like that so many of you know of Alan Turing. I am producing a documentary on is ife for public television in the US. I would like to use this thread to keep you all informed about the film.
Turing was given the pardon for being a great scientist and not for the fact that he was convicted under such draconian law. Because he was pardoned for his great role in WW II, the 75,000 other gay men of which 15,000 are still alive. These men have not been pardoned because Turing;'s pardon was not based on him conviction.
