I've no excuse, I just want you to use me - Take me and abuse me
I got no taboos, I'll make a trade with you - Do anything you wa-ant me to
Money talks, mmm-hmm-hmm, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
Money talks, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
I once had pride, now that's all behind - I want to get rich quick
I want success and all that goes with it - And I'm gonna use my sex
Money talks, mmm-hmm, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
Money talks, (you know) money talks, (ah-hah)
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
I'm dirty cash, the one that you asked for - I'm wanted by the rich and the poor
More and more, you just can't reject it - You're the junkie and I inject it
Into your blood stream, it's like a bad dream - Money's the theme, do you know what I mean
people are lying, in the streets - trying to find somebody to be
to get 'em to the top and get 'em there fast - trying to get that dirty cash
doesn't matter, woman or man, anyone can give 'em a hand
cash money, all that green - cold cash, that's the scene
I've no excuse, I just want you to use me - Take me and abuse me
I got no taboos, I'll make a trade with you - Do anything you wa-ant me to
Money talks, mmm-hmm-hmm, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
Money talks, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
A few weeks ago I started getting into a bad mindset of believing that
money makes the world go around and that money does buy people happiness. I
mean I busted my ass [and still busting] through my CNA course and now I'm in
search of a job and all for $ [and well to give care to people, cause I really like
doing that]. Not being able to afford things can sometimes get you down.
The thing that made me get out of this mindset was looking back at all the things
I did this last summer; like sitting in a bench at 1am in Ptown with your friend just
sharing stories or getting lost in San Francisco cause we didn't want to pay for a cab
or ride a bus, so we ended up walking from one end of the city to the other. We were
so tired afterwards, but it's a memory that I will take with me forever, and all of it for
free.
I still believe that there's still a lot of things in life and in the world money
can't simply buy

at the end of the day, the best things in life are free!
A friend told me something like : "it is more pleasant to desire things than to possess."
I think this sentence can't be more exact.
What's the point to have lots and lots of money? I mean ok, having a decent wage to have enough money to live in a decent place and to eat things healthy, and to travel every once a while, that's awesome.
But, having 3 swimming pools, a palace for yourself, will you use them? No. That's really superficial. Then distinguish those who will be your real friends and not just opportunist idiots.
MisterTinkles Wrote:But would humanity be better off with all "money" removed from the equation of living......and bartering was the way of currency again?
Absolutely not.
There is no way to properly value services without money.
How do you pay a taxi driver, does he have to go home after a few trips to empty his boot full of all the good collected from bartered trips
