oh ben affleck what is your problem...

Lets get this straight, british officials in iran helped the 6 american diplomats and sheltered them

In mr afflecks film there is no british and its suggested that british turned the americans away when they needed help!

JUST WHY… why would you do this ?

Recently accepting an award for the film, ben thanked canada… CANADA!

Why, because unlike his shit f***ing film, a canadian man organised a lot of the actual operation and this has upset a few canadians.

So youve said thank you to canada, now how about an apology to britain !

Apparantly iran is upset too! :p

BEN AFFLECK = ARSEHOLE OF THE YEAR !

Why would you deliberatley take the truth and turn it into a lie… You could have just not mentioned the british, not actively lie…

They sheltered them… they turned them away… they sheltered them… they turned them away.

And whats worse is keep hearing people say how good a film it is… well NO its not a good film, end of!

Well good thing he was not nominated for Oscars for Best Director, when he won in all other award giving bodies like BAFTA, Golden Globes etc...just fair. haha

I read the book, so the movie was pretty much a pretend story based very, very "loosely" on the story. It gets a big fail to me....

Book is far more interesting (and factual, as much as it could be at the time it was written).

Based on a true story is not the same thing as a true story...

You do understand that Titanic, the movie, with what's it, the so called king of the world - Folk actually believe that all of that chasing, sex, and rose floating on a bit of wood was what actually happened that fateful night. Well those who even thought that Titanic even existed in real life.

Ours is a world that is seriously confused about a lot of stuff.... um like - Everything.

Hollywood is as confused (if not more) about reality... Stupid creates stupid... What can I tell ya?

Evan i know… Unlike the film "U-571" about an american submarine crew who captured the enigma machine that was based on the ummmmm british submarine crew who captured the enigma machine… Argo is winning awards and people saying its good, at least that other film "sunk" - yes jon bon jovi drowning did not save the preposterous film U-571 but Argo is winning a slew of awards!

There were two enigma machines captured on German U-Boats, one in 1941 by British Naval forces (the most important U-110) and another by US Naval forces in 1944 (U-505), the enigma was taken to Bletchley Park and the submarine was towed to the US and the crew was held in a separate facility until after the war so the German gov and their families would assume they were all KIA.

ETA: the movie was pretty silly - historically.

Ive watched Argo, and thought it was a great film.

All movies, based on fact or fiction use artistic licence in order to reach out to the widest possible audience, not to mention to generate ticket sales to cover costs.

Argo is no different.
