I Wonder How

As I sit here looking out my window
Wondering what has become what
Looking and trying to find a symbol
That’ll give me a clue to my questions

A war outta control and ripping faces off
Living like we are born wild animals
A civilization that is just in total chaos
Mass destruction and killing non-stop

I wonder how it’s gotten so bad lately
Letting go of all my fears is heroic
Being my own giant in a huge world
Even with how I’ve grown so thick
With many mistakes to learn from
Over the years until this present day
But I’ve never seemed to given up
Set a pathway to those of you that lay

A brand new crusade for this valuable oil
Warring over something so simplistic
Looking at everyone whose been disloyal
It’s a crack on what humanities become

It just seems like that they care or not
But they must push together and unite
As we are one, the only thing we got
Is being side by side with no such hate
