I'm Sorry to hear for your loss. As it looks from the pic you have posted, she was a beautiful dog. I still remember how terrible I felt last summer when my dog passed away.
I have lost several pets in my life , and it is very hard to lose them.
Relatives of mine have owned many dogs , and had to have one put down last year due to cancer ,she was not really that old ,and I had great affection for her and used to joke that she was my girlfriend hehe.
My relatives have since brought a new dog ( they always like to have two ) ,and you can see a pick of her if you want to on my latest selfie slut post.
She is a right little diva Lol
Really nice picture of your dog , my thoughts are with you
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Losing any loved one, human, pet, whatever or whoever it is, is always hard. We had an albino cockatiel for as long as I could remember and she had to be put down when I was in 7th grade.
My parents raised my brothers and I with the idea that there should always be extra life in the home, besides the humans, and we had multiple pets over the years. Each time one had to be put down, it hurt.
I have no pets now, because I live in a small apartment, it wouldn't be fair to keep one in a confined space. When I move to a bigger place, that will change.
Hey once again Im sorry losing a dog is hard to do - but the comfort is they are out of pain. I've attached a picture of our older dog jess that we had to put down 2 years ago - with alfie the chocolate lab we have now!

I learn to love it more and more. [/COLOR]
My black-lab rott mix is pushing 17 hard.... I have been hoping she will pass quietly in her sleep.
The last elder dog I had got lymphatic cancer which settled in the lungs. From diagnosis to death it was several months.... We had to put her down once the lungs started going.... It was a real mercy.
I keep swearing no more dogs each time one shuffles of this mortal coil... Eventually that will be the case....
I empathize with you and your loss. Losing a good friend is never easy.
