Kinda shitty. Found out my ex that broke up with me over distance, moved to a city an hour away while I was dating someone else. Now that I know he lives closer and that I am in the job hunt, I have been wondering if there is any chance we could get back together. I know it's unhealthy, but he's all I can think about. I've considered getting a job in that city and then getting a hold of him if the job sticks. I've also been thinking about just contacting him now to see if there could be anything. No matter what I think about doing it can't lead to anything good, but I feel like I need to contact him at some point. Just feels like something I need to do. I feel like I've turned into that creepy guy that will never move on. I kinda hate that he's all I think about. I have to force myself to even take a substitute teaching job.

I've been working on a project over the last few weeks. It's involved buying a lot of Christmas records (on vinyl) and recording them into my computer. Which means I've been subjecting myself to Christmas music all month. Luckily I like this stuff.

Just got home from work. Sitting out on my balcony watching the sun go down. Warm early evening. The frat boys next door are playing pingpong out in their yard, listening to dance music of some sort. What I find amazing is when they all join in singing the lyrics. I call it a "frat" because the house is full of guys but they're not actually a frat--just a bunch of college dudes. They have fun.

My evening plans are to strike up the bong, feed my African violets, make myself some din din and zone OUT.

Tonight I am doing a 40-story stair climb to raise money and awareness for an organization that provides free legal services to women who have been victims of domestic abuse. I'm an idiot, because I really didn't train for this other than slogging six miles on the beach a few weeks ago.
