I'm pondering whether to keep buying books or change to a tablet+ebooks combo. I like the idea of owning book shelves full of books, as a kind of physical record of all the best books that I've read, but then again I also hate hoarding stuff. I'm having a serious first world problem here!

I'm not so enamoured by e-books. Main reason being the e-book-reader's high price. If you're reading only at home that is great, but when you are traveling, going to the beach, park etc. that pricey doohickey needs to be watched and schlepped around or it might develop legs... So, I'm advocating a mix depending on your situation.
Of course I love the instant gratification of downloading books in a minute and immediately starting to read.
Just wanted to share my experiences.
