I had somebody back out of a Saturday night project with me about 24 hours beforehand. This isn't too unusual of an occurence (cancelations this close in general, not her specifically), but I thought her reason for canceling was odd - "I'm just not feeling this for some reason." But my job is to keep the show going, so I just said "OK" and focused on working around her.

This morning, I was glancing through Facebook, and saw she posted last night. "I only want to be around people who can achieve the impossible." I felt like responding "Ma'am, you were apparently even unable to achieve the possible." But I didn't.
