Chances are I wouldn't have a clue. If I did know, tho? Probably buy a few more locks for my door and talk to my ex-landlord (who owns the place next door... I bought my place from him and we're still on good terms) and see if I could convince the guy to boot him out.

Pay off the mortgage, make a fund for my nephew's college fund, put some away for old age.

You meet a guy online or at a bar for a hook up, someone you had never known before that night, and go back to his place. In the middle of getting it on, he suddenly gets a late night/early morning call from his sister which he promptly answers because why would she be calling at that hour if it wasn't an emergency. He learns his mother has just unexpectedly passed away. Do you offer comfort to this person you had just met an hour or two before or just quietly dress and slip away into the night?

I would offer him comfort...hang around for a few to hug/console him, and ask if there is anything I can do to help. Then, I'd give him my phone number before leaving.

WWYD: you have met a potential new friend at work, and while they seem friendly enough...when you try to invite them out to do things, they seem to shy away from the idea. Do you just stop inviting them, or try to figure out if there are other reasons they aren't biting?

Defend him, if he's grateful I'd invite him somewhere, if not I'd simply look down at him and go.
