If he's having problem with water-based lube I would certainly not recommend him to use coconut oil... PH level is way too high and he may end up with something more than just a burning ass. In an area like anal conduct you need something that will not leave residue... that's why so many companies have come up with water-based lube.

To the OPS... check with your doc... your reaction could very much be an allergic reaction.

Do you douche aftersex too? Because if you don't... yes some residue will make it difficult for you to regulate afterward.

Does lube have a use by date?

Normally after sex you wait few minute (up to 30) and next time you go to the loo the exedent will come out. However, don't be lazy and do proceed to a anal douche with simply clear water. This should remove what's left.

HIkerSkier Wrote:Olive oil works as well. These are natural products, such that could injest them.

I don't know if it safe to use these as lube during actual sex with a condom.

No it is not save to use condom with any oils, vegetal, peanuts, olive (virgin or extra virgin) and please guys do pay attention with those oil, they are for cooking and/or eating. They are not made for sex, these oils get absorbed by your colon walls and may leave traces that can turn into bacteria (the bad ones which can creates very painful rashes)... If you are like many of us you just go sleep after sex... just imagine what's going on in there. Be more careful with your colon. It's when you lose it you'll regret it. Ask those with Chronh's disease or colon cancer.
