The Walking Dead
Justme Wrote:The story was always moving in this direction. I just didn't like the way it played out. I can't really put my finger on it, but it didn't seem like TWD. It felt a little over done. There were to many flashbacks and I felt like some if it felt like filler.

And it's hard to feel any real emotion when you have 7-8 months to sit on "someone is going to die" when it returns. That was the worse cliffhanger!

I have to say for the first time in all the years I have watched which is every episode multiple times..I find I am not looking forward to watching this again.....

I am not sure yet..but I think it might have been my deal breaker....didn't expect that....

I have been reading people saying Game of Thrones is the same way..but that is why I have never watched it. I can't even get past the first episode....

I also HATE IT when the bad guys win....truly hate it....so this was pretty much my worst scenario.....

The thing with the zombies..they don't know any better. They are doing what they do with no choice....so it isn't the same as the intentional violence

I agree. I felt like it was too theatrical

Theatrical I actually a god description now that I think about it....

I was thinking something was "off"...and the vibe took a sharp turn...but now that you mention it..seemed a bit too choreographed and theatrical and maybe that was what put me off as well....

Yeah the bad guy won that episode. But Rick is going to kill him. Not today, not tomorrow, not in this season probably. But I bet Rick and his crew are going to end up back on top.

I honestly lost interest when this show became more about feelings than zombies. But I still watch it anyway :/

IMO, it's always been about feelings. The opening episode was bout a guy waking out of coma to world unhinged and his family missing. His love for them is what motivated him to keep going. It just so happens that "family" doesn't have to be blood anymore.

Yeah, good point and you're totally right. But the earlier seasons used to get me to where I couldnt sleep at night, like legit scared that zombies were going to break down my door. I hated that... but I also secretly really loved it. I guess what I was trying to say is that it doesnt scare me anymore.

I see... they've never scared me. Probably cause I used to watch horror movies alone, in dark, @ the age of 7

My brothers say I'm a pussy because I can't watch this show, it freaks me out and gives me nightmares. They laugh at me because I work as a first responder, I'm fine with shootings and stabbing and all kinds of shit, but Zombies..............Scared-smiley-face

I'll hold you while we watch it together Gemini XD
JK, I won't force you to watch it if you don't want to. Or you could look away when there's zombies on screen.
