To be, or not...

Hello forum world. I am unfamiliar with this medium, but to introduce myself:

I will be known as wayward

I am on the East Coast of North America

I am a 4th generation Hispanic immigrant

I have mild autism, perhaps Asperger's, but I've yet to be classified specifically

I endure chronic depression, though satisfactory treatment is pending.

I am a gay male about to be 21 years of age

I am interested in friendship, not romance. (from this experience)

I appreciate honest, direct, tactful interactions

I am an aspiring poet

I am eager to interact, give and receive support, and learn about anything.

The poetry thing caught my eye, an I also write poetry. I'm into structured poetry, I don't seem to have much talent for free verse, though I'm working at it. Would love to see some of your work.

There's a category for poetry, I think under Lifestyles - doesn't seem to get much use except if someone wants to share work by a favorite author, but it would be interesting if people started posting original stuff.
