I hated the newbie restrictions when I first joined but understand why they're in place now.
They keep GS free of trolls and I'm for that! I was a long time member in Yahoo Answers where the Troll University is. Trolls there are so bad and so many that it's caused YA to collapse in on itself and will probably be discontinued soon.
