Many are really quite disturbing. Those I find most are the ones that depict "Auction and Negro Sales" and the black children standing behind a fence that divides them from a whites only area. And yours?

So these were colorized? If memory serves, color is a rather new invention. Mind I'm not as old as you are, so I don't recall if the civil war era had color, you would know from personal experience no doubt.:tongue:
