If it is a temporary change, I'd vote sinuses.

If it persists, I'd get a brain scan, as it is indicated.

Hope it was just snot leaving. Wink

If you are in Gilroy how do you smell anything through the garlic?

Hope things even out soon, that sounds maddening.

LOL...unfortunately you can only smell the garlic a few months of the year.... I LOVE garlic...I don't have any regular salt or pepper in my house...I use sea salt that I grind and garlic for my everyday spice

I do too... I'm simmering some chili right now, and i put just a sprinkle of cayenne and some basil, and a few crushed cloves of the good stuff. I don't put salt in my cooking unless nor do either of us add it at the table. You really taste salt in particular if you aren't used to eating a lot of it.

Yum....I love basil....

I am in love with pesto which is basically garlic, basil, parmeson and olive oil ....and some pine nuts

I have had my sea salt grinder for a few years now...maybe even longer... and it is still over 1/2 full...I hate adding salt to food in general because I can taste it and sometimes I need to spit it out if there is too much salt...makes me gag.

a sudden drastic change of sense has happened to me when i didn't get any sleep for about 4 days once. it affected my sense of taste. i pretty much lost the ability to taste sweet at all. I remember whipped cream cakes were completely tasteless (i love them) that time, they tasted like water, like eating nothing; Coca-Cola tasted like this bitter caffeine-flavored water, it was really vile. it affected certain other tastes as well, interestingly enough the taste of meat was fully conserved. but some other tastes were either somewhat or significantly reduced. it kicked in on the third day of not getting any sleep, and once i finally did get sleep the sense of taste immediately returned to normal. that was a really insane experience.
