Proud of my students! :)
#1
It was a really good week at school and I'm very proud of my students.

Nothing spectacular or remarkable happened but all activities worked just as I expected - and, believe me, I work with the toughest kids you can possibly imagine and that's no small achievement.

Among the activities I tried this week was the music archive: they just listened to several mp3 files and organised them. Simple but very effective. Music and teenagers are always an excellent combination.

Another activity was route planning: they had to search for cities in a map and calculate the distances.

Finally, my tourism class wrote reviews on the Grand Budapest Hotel (yes, the one from Wes Anderson's movie) and posted them on TripAdvisor.

I'm always looking for new ideas for classroom activities (tourism, economy, ages 16 - 19). Any tips are more welcome.
