Africa may be the dark continent, but its captivating once you step out from behind the (bad) news headlines.

It would be great to see a separate thread that was just for telling the success stories in Africa. With as many millions as are there, and as many people who have worked on improvements, surely there are those stories to be told.

I remember seeing a documentary about the fistula hospitals that treat women and how dramatically that changes their lives. It breaks your heart.
