Well...that's what we're having.
Plus Christmas Carrot Pudding.

Never mind trying to eat it all. Think about the poor cook who has to make it all for her master!

The Christmas dinner at my grandmother's would put a lot of folks flat out on the floor. We never called it such, but it was a feast indeed. We often had about 15 for dinner and would sit at the table for three hours eating and talking. By the time dessert rolled around we were stuffed but felt obligated to enjoy flaming plum pudding with bourbon sauce, fruitcake we had made at Halloween and years before, and mincemeat and apple pies. It wasn't until I went to dinner at other homes that I heard the question about would I like either/or. We all had it all. Most candy was home made and I can remember cookies being made in the hundreds of dozens by lots of people in the small town. The whole town was covered with goodies baked to give away! Thank goodness there was no such thing as "lite" anything and butter, cream, sugar and nuts ruled. Splenda would have been laughed out of the county!
I bid NO Trump!

I'm not a big meat eater, so most of that sounds disgusting.
