Just keep it gayspeak. I am older than many of you here and I can remember a time when the term "gay" was more inclusive, more of a cultural word than just men who had sex with other men. If you were homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, you went to the "gay" bar or "gay" pride and nobody got hung up on the word. We should keep some sort of terminology around that unite us all and all those other words we can use as individuals to identify ourselves.

The one thing that George H. W. Bush and I agree on is that political correctness is a bunch of hooey.
I am happy to acknowledge the good intentions behind some of it, but do not feel the need to celebrate inanity in language and lack of cultural experience brought on by overspecificity.

i think it's downright ridiculous how every tiny personal intricacy needs to be named and publicized as some sexuality or its affiliate in its own right. especially when it in fact makes things more complicated, not simpler. it's the special snowflake syndrome. get over it. if people don't feel included by a community/forum that is open to all gay people and gender identities, then that is on them, not on the community.
we can't name this site gibberish, which it inevitably would be if everyone wanted their unique identity plastered all over the name. the site has its own identity too.

Oh Bloody Hell!
I am terribly sorry, OP, but I just have to say it plainly.
This kind of foolishness should not be.
I fume. I wish for bourbon. I shall now overeat!

If somebody out there wants to make a LGBTspeak, by all means go ahead but I think Gayspeak is fine.
