Long drawn out sigh.

I wonder how much the Queen of England has to do with the honours, other than giving them. Is she even picking the people? The guy is obviously some kind of lunatic, who seems to think gays can control the weather.

Makes me proud of our danish Queen.

The Queen does not choose the honours. They are chosen by the government of the day and unless someone has done something extremely egregious, they would not be denied their prize.

So even if he'd done some good things in the past, it seems his diatribe agains the LGBTQ community was all too recent for him to commend an award of any kind. He's just a fool.
