I did just write a life story but it took me that long that I got logged out and have lost all what I had written

I have been lurking on this forum, yeah aha. I am a member of a couple of other forums but they are pet related, animals being my main interest.

I guess I expect is to just talk, maybe make a friend or three At the minute my friends are mostly people I talk to online but have never met. I had a group of "real life" friends who took drugs abit too far for my liking so I removed myself from the group and pretty much sat at home. For the time I spent sat at home I was just talking to people online rarely actually going out and meeting people properly. Some of these people I have spoken to for up to 5 years now and still have not met them!!

I spoke to my boyfriend for 2 years before actually meeting him(we were not in a relationship before meeting up).. we have been together a year and half now He has brought out the best in me and has given me so much confidence in myself.

I stayed with him a fair bit when we first got together as I had some issues at home which some days was that bad it just wasn't possible for me to go home. After about 6 months I moved in with him permanently. He was living and working in a pub at this time.. We have since moved from there though.. about an hour's drive away.

Our "friends" have not really bothered since we moved so a lot of the time it is just me and him. Sometimes it can be so hard, if I have a day off and he's working im sat on my own with nothing to do and vice verser. So would be nice to actually have friends to go for drinks with and what not.

We have a couple of good friends, people we work with, but sometimes it would be nice to have somebody outside of work to do spend time and hang out with!

But yeah, I guess that is how I have ended up here lol

Ok, thanks for that info MrJsk... You seem like just the sort of person we need on this forum. It's a way to engage in society a bit, and maybe learn a bit more about the world, about others. From what I understand, you're trying to cope with some idleness and maybe a touch of loneliness?
You say you like animals, have you got any pets, yourselves?

I am sure in time, I will be posting here there and everywhere aha. Yeah I guess so,in the time I spent sat indoors I kind of developed the attitude of not even wanting to socialise with people in person.. until I met my boyfriend and developed feelings of wanting to be with somebody and wanting to actually be out there socialising and having a life. Me and my boyfriend always go out when we can.. cinema, dinner or just for a couple of drinks. Would be nice to have friends to do that with too though!

I do. I used to have pygmy hedgehogs and a couple of lizards aswell as some tropical fish.. When I moved into the pub I had to rehome all of them

For Christmas, Joel (other half) got me a beardied dragon, he's called Logan
