Like Beaux I eat several times a day but here's how most people in US refer to their meals.
Breakfast is morning meals
Lunch is midday meals
Dinner or Supper are last meals.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Any in between meal or some meal later at night after dinner, I really don't have a name for.
I remember my grandparents always said supper, not dinner. My mother had an odd thing of saying supper if we were eating at home, but dinner if we were going out to eat. She did not like to cook and so we ate out an awful lot when I was a kid, which is probably why I picked up on causing the evening meal dinner.
