Country star George Strait has been in the music business since 1981, when his first country single was released. He continues to record and tour today, at the age of 62. His most recent #1 single was "River Of Love" in 2008.
This week that record was tied by Madonna, as her latest single "Living For Love" moved to #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, tying George Strait's record.
It's very possible that she'll break that record. Her new CD (Rebel Heart) is due to be released next month. Other singles could hit the top of the dance chart as well.
