David's Poetry
Everyday brings new ways of moving on, and falling back down,
Endlessness in itself, an absolution, the defining orders,
Numb as I am, I could almost feel that same love for you...

I am your goodbyeless state of redemption's famous last words,
I have tried and tried, but I'm not in love with you anymore m'dear,
It's something to remember, I have nowhere else to go, but far from you...

A hidden message in the title, obvious to me and you, means nothing to you,
I will never love a man again, I will never again speak a word to empty air,
In the hope that it will find you, I hope I'm young enough to be your fool...

Well, with a bit of luck, sarcasm won't be detected in their eyes,
I can continue to spin this web of a bitter, brittle mask for myself,
I can turn into something beautiful if I try hard enough, long enough...

I donated my heart for the research of just how to save our love,
It took you long enough to find the exit, making sure to say goodbye,
My immortality was left in vain in the hands of some fallen star...

Writhing in the hands of some other lust, I'm sleeping with the unknown,
I'm forgetting myself amongst the mirrors of bodies that I steal tonight,
Never forgetting you, I am becoming every shadow you cast today...

On a whim and a prayer, forever I am not yours,
All those years in our heads now effortlessly tomorrowless,
Bereft of the audacity of fickle birth, end, means, effect...

The lost fruitions of our heart's subjective remembrances,
The words came after you came, sprouted from deep within,
An enigma of an epiphany that incandescently is forgotten...

The sorrow and the solace of those once sailboat days,
Bon voyage, my dear "Better to have loved and lost",
So long to everything I ever wanted, you never needed...

...Me.

'Tis been a long time since I've been on this, I was reminded of it by an email that informed me of a new friend request.

Looking over alot of this poetry, I feel that it is alot less mature than what I have shaped it to become, it is what it is, but I have soared recently, far from such as these.

Anyways, here's a taster, just dropping by!

"Reference's Dream"

-

Misery of the lesser obsequey;

(Functionally art thou blissful...)

Arise, day-starved hearts,

(Thoust average radiance illustrious...)

Pray tell, of fond-resurrect,

(Stellated panorama of the mediocrity...)

The horizonlust's rememberance,

(Thy paragon's paradigm prosaic...)

The morbid hope doth prevail...

(A pabulum cynosure fornever yours...)
