I actually think Chaka will get in but I will convince myself that she won't so I won't be disappointed just in case.

Thank Christ she got kicked off that tacky DWTS show the first night...I was afraid she would lose her cool factor...

Going in...I think Chaka...along with The J.B.'s, The Smiths and Los Lobos all have the "cool factor" ...

Deep Purple was always a glaring omission and I say NO WAY will they lose this year....they are a shoo-in IMO......

I think The J.B.'s are gonna get it simply because it was an unexpected nomination and they have the cool factor title out of all of them...

The rest...tough call....this list is really hard to analyze.....

I wanted to comment, but realized that I cannot do so due to the fact that I am seethingly bitter with an artist near the top of the list and would end up hi-jacking this thread in an effort to form a lynch mob to go after the...bit..um...performer.

Grrr....Joan Jett. Her reaction (and other information and recordings and depositions from numerous people...) that came out in light of the rape of Jackie Fox and the molestation of Viki Blue.

I won't go into all the nasty particulars, it just gets me too upset. I mean--I grew up listening to Joan Jet, for God sake! Now to see Joan act like such a cunt....SMFH....but THEN to find out that virtually ALL of their early hits were actually written by the other victim--Vikie Blue--and that she has never gotten a SINGLE PENNY FOR THEIR USE!!!! Which is why Joan is being such a bitch and denying any knowledge of everything that happened.......ARGHHHHHH!!!
