I remember helping a senior citizen put carpet in his living room where several cats evidently lived. I wish I had never volunteered to help him before first going over to take a look (smell). I didn't know I could hold my breath that long!!!!

The truly sad part of this story is that this poor man had several layers of carpet on that floor, and he only wanted me to help him add another carpet on top of the intensely stinky carpets that were already there..

Which leads me to the end of this story with a quick note to myself;;;; Sometimes helping someone - isn't helping them.....

It's just something I've done since I was a kid. Don't even realize I'm doing it at times. The only thing that will prevent it is when I have a short-short haircut.
